Econex was founded in 2023 with a clear vision: to make building management systems more affordable, simpler, and accessible for a wider range of buildings.
How it started
The business idea behind Econex was to create a building management system that was primarily cheaper, simpler, and easier to deliver across more types of buildings – not just the largest ones. We wanted to be the link between installers, programmers, and visualization specialists, while cutting unnecessary steps in the value chain.
Along the way, we discovered something important: buildings already contain vast amounts of sensor data through their installed equipment. We don't need to add more – we need to use the data that's already there, smarter.

We let the building's own data tell us what can be improved.
Our focus is on data analysis. We look at how rooms in a building actually behave, and provide operations staff with concrete insights into what can be optimized. It's about using the data that already exists in the building in a smarter way.
The next step is for the system itself to optimize and alert based on deviations – not just traditional alert thresholds, but patterns and trends that only data-driven analysis can uncover.
