Solar shading
The right position on every facade, all day
Econex shows and controls solar shading per facade and window. The automation follows the sun, users can lock when needed, and weather and fire are handled safely.

Automatic control
Shading is controlled by solar irradiance and the sun's position, so the sunlit facade is shaded while the rest lets daylight in.
- Position per facade based on irradiance and sun angle
- Shading in time reduces the cooling demand
- Manual override with automatic reset

Lock up or down
Sometimes the automation should step aside. With upper and lower locks a zone can be held up – for a viewing, say – or held down for blackout, until the lock is released.
- Upper lock holds the shading up
- Lower lock holds the shading down
- Clear which zones are locked, and until when

Weather and fire
Wind guard and fire signal take precedence over both automation and locks. In strong wind, external shading is moved to a safe position, and on fire alarm to a defined position.
- Wind limit per facade with a delay before returning to auto
- Fire signal overrides automation and locks
- Event log shows what happened and why
